With a new year, comes new responsibilities to improve your lifestyle. This year as any other year I have vowed to floss more, stay organized and most importantly–lose weight and exercise! In order to aid myself in this I have devised a plan for myself that by committing myself to a program and telling my family, peers, and co-workers that I will stay on course. This site offers lower calorie, lower fat version recipes on just about everything we love! In addition, these recipes are simple and involve everyday items we can find at our local grocer. On this site you can find news updates, ask “Hungry Girl” questions, poll, read reviews, and read survival strategies for dining out. Everything you need to jump start a healthy lifestyle!

Go Obama! On Monday, Barack Obama our President plans to sign a bill to both help end child hunger and battle childhood obesity. This is a long overdue bill that should be addressed. The “Healthy, Hungry-free Kid’s act of 2010”is intended to improve the quality of food served at schools. This will change food in the cafeteria, a la carte and vending machines.
